ELEVATE ACTING STUDIO

Elevate Acting is a professional studio in downtown Fort Myers that focuses on the fundamental building blocks of acting for students of all ages and experience levels. The studio was born out of a need for professional acting training in the area, and delivers elevated Stanislavsky-infused instruction in a safe and open environment.

The owner and primary instructor, Kody C Jones, holds an MFA in Acting and almost 20 years of professional experience in the field. Though he is Stanislavsky-focused within his acting instruction, he also introduces techniques and ideas from Meisner and Chekov. His physical movement techniques derive from Laban, Grotowski, and Feldenkrais. Jones is an avid believer in voice, body and mind integration. His vocal techniques and background are infused with the techniques Linklater and Berry.

Kody's passion for arts advocacy and belief that an actor's training is never ending make his direction both valuable and empowering. To receive instruction that elevates our skills is a valuable asset, to inspire students to recognize their own value and embark on a path to continuously elevate themselves is invaluable.
